What advocates ask before they buy
- Where is my data kept?
- The documents you add stay in an encrypted vault on your computer. Your matters, deadlines, notes and drafts, and the text of your documents, are kept on our servers (in the EU, encrypted at rest) so they survive a lost laptop and power search and AI. Mark a document local-only and its text never leaves your computer.
- How accurate are the research answers?
- Answers are written only from judgments found for your question, never from the AI’s memory. Each quote an answer relies on is checked word for word against the judgment it cites, and anything that cannot be matched is flagged in amber. It is a research aid: read the judgment before you cite it.
- Will I see the latest judgments?
- Yes. Every search goes live to Indian Kanoon as well as our own library, so a judgment decided this morning is found. When you open a judgment, its list of later cases that cite it is refreshed if it is more than a week old.
- Do I need an AI subscription or API key?
- No. AI is included in the price, within fair use of 200 requests a month. If you already pay for Claude or OpenAI you can connect your own instead, and then it is not counted.
- What happens when the trial ends?
- Nothing is deleted. Your workspace becomes read-only until you subscribe, and everything you saved is still there when you do.
- Can I stop any time?
- Yes: simply do not renew. Your workspace becomes read-only, and you can export your matters, deadlines and drafts from the Export Center whenever you like.
- Does it work on Windows?
- Today it runs on Macs with Apple Silicon (M1 or later). Windows and Intel Mac builds are next.
